Austin is a practicing renal dietitian and has educational  background in nutrition and sports performance. No matter what the emphasis – autoimmune diseases to running best marathon time – Austin focuses on eating whole, nutrient dense and clean foods.

Austin was a Division I athlete at Bucknell University, majoring in psychology. She went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from Drexel University. This is where she became a self-proclaimed foodie and gym rat/race junkie. As a member of 2 gyms and 1 yoga studio she spent much of her free time working out and running races, qualifying for the Boston both years she ran the Philadelphia Marathon. She then completed her dietetic internship at St. Louis University, with an emphasis on sports nutrition and physical performance.  In St. Louis, Austin developed a love for renal dietetics, but upon graduating took a great opportunity with Life Time Fitness at a new club that was just opening in Virginia. Here she continued to develop her nutritional knowledge base, especially in the areas of adrenal fatigue, autoimmune diseases and sports nutrition. An unexpected diagnosis of stage 4 cancer then opened Austin’s eyes to nutrition needs in oncology. She used these skills to maintain her energy to continue working and even run a half marathon!  Austin is passionate about nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle; she is excited to help others achieve their health, wellness  and athletic goals in which they set for themselves.
